I have been an artist since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I started off filling notebooks full of "Secret of Nim" sketches. In Junior High I was taught how to paint by a wonderful art teacher who knew how to embrace my unique eccentric personality & style. Art classes were really the only reason for me to even show up for school (haha I had a very short attention span back then and at that time, a terrible student). Once I got into high school I got into jewelry making and help teach a few of the classes. Just after I graduated, I started work at a small family owned jewelry & clock repair shop. Within my time working at the shop, I went to school and got my Associate's Degree in Multimedia. I do alot of graphic design in my spare time but never took the plunge into the world of multimedia as a full time designer. Lately, I have been enjoying learning all the fun of blacksmithing with my wonderful boyfriend. I do some of the design and alot of the striking.
